Cliff Lee was not happy with his reception at the 2013 MLB All-Star Game.

The New York Mets' Matt Harvey nailed Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano in the right knee with a 96 mph fastball in the first inning of the 2013 MLB All-Star Game.

Cano would be forced to leave the game in the top of the first.

New York Yankees closer Mariano Rivera will be participating in his 13th and final MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday, and his American League teammates paid homage to him in fitting fashion.

Mariano Rivera received another parting gift during his retirement tour on Friday, but this one didn't come from an MLB team, it came from Delta Airlines.

That's right, the airline dedicated a 757 plane to Mo, placing his number and signature near the cockpit of the plane.

Prodigious Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper sent a text message to manager Davey Johnson in which he implored to be put into the starting lineup. It was a rather bold statement by the 20-year-old star, as he told Johnson, "Play me or trade me."

There are few tributes like naming a child after one of your loved ones. Los Angeles Angels pitcher Jered Weaver and his wife Kristin did just that with their first-born son, naming him in memory of Weaver's former teammate, Nick Adenhart.

Former MLB outfielder Milton Bradley has reportedly been sentenced to almost three years in jail and 400 hours of community service for abuse of his estranged wife.
