A strange moment happened during Friday night's game between the Boston Red Sox and Detroit Tigers, but fortunately for first baseman Mike Napoli, everything worked out.

The seventh-inning stretch at Wrigley Field is a great tradition that usually involves special guests singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame," and they had another great guest on Saturday.

WWE wrestler CM Punk led the song during the seventh inning of Saturday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers, giving a special shout-out to the Chicago Blackhawks before he started to sing. You can see the video below.

In honor of Dairy Night at Angel Stadium of Anaheim on Friday, the Los Angeles Angels decided to host a friendly competition against their opponents, the Tampa Bay Rays.

Before the contest, Price went to Twitter to ask for advice.

The San Diego Padres placed pitcher Andrew Cashner on the 15-day disabled list Saturday with what the team is calling "right elbow soreness," per the Padres' official Twitter account.

Texas Rangers pitcher Yu Darvish struck out 11 batters in Friday's 2-0 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays, thus notching his 22nd double-digit strikeout performance through 69 career starts.

Prince Fielder is out of the Texas Rangers' starting lineup on Saturday with a herniated disk in his neck, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports. The loss of Fielder is just another blow to a Rangers team who have already seen the likes of Derek Holland, Jurickson Profar, Matt Harrison and others

Over the last few seasons, we have seen the emergence of a number of young pitching prospects in Major League Baseball.  

Unfortunately, 2014 has been the year of torn ulnar collateral ligaments, resulting in season-ending Tommy John surgery for a lot of those young stars.  

Washington Nationals third baseman Ryan Zimmerman is currently on the disabled list with a broken thumb, but when he comes back, he may no longer be "Ryan Zimmerman, Washington Nationals third baseman."
