If there is one thing all sports fans can truly agree on, it’s that the ‘This is Sportscenter’ commercials produced by ESPN are possibly the best commercials on television. I am not ashamed to admit that I spend large amounts of time just sitting on my computer, watching old Sportscenter commercials from time to time. So I decided to take on the daunting task of coming up with the best of the best, of the Sportscenter commercials. Originally I thought the top 10 commercials would be best, but after hours of watching every Sportscenter commercial I could find, I decided that 10 simply wasn’t enough. In fact, after watching as many as I could find, I found just under 50 commercials that warranted consideration. After long deliberation, I cut that number down to 35, and have decided upon the best 25 Sportscenter commercials (in my opinion anyway).
It was nearly impossible to rank them from 25 down to No. 1, but I did my best to try and order them appropriately. Most of these commercials I had seen, but I ran across a few that I hadn’t seen before. For each commercial, I will post a YouTube link. I will also post all the links on the very last slide, if you would prefer to watch them all at once, rather than watch them one at a time, as you go slide by slide. I thought 25 in one article was a bit much, so I have No. 25 down to No. 11, and will post my top 10 commercials in the next day or so. This was the most fun I have had writing and researching an article, so I hope everyone enjoys!
