FINAL SCORE: Kansas City Royals win 4-3 over the Toronto Blue Jays
The Kansas City Royals are going back to the World Series after topping the Toronto Blue Jays 4-3 in Game 6 of the ALCS.
Lorenzo Cain scored the go-ahead run in the eighth, as the center fielder raced all the way home from first on a single.
There was a controversial moment in the second when a fan appeared to interfere with a home run off the bat of Mike Moustakas.
The real game-changer for the Jays was the team's inability to hit with runners in scoring position. In those situations, Toronto was 0-for-12. During the regular season, the Jays led the bigs in that department with a .286 average. The season ended when AL MVP front-runner Josh Donaldson grounded out to third with runners on second and third.
