CA Congressman Loses Bet over NLDS, Sings 'Meet the Mets' to House of Reps

It’s bad enough when your favorite team gets bounced from the playoffs.

It’s even worse when there’s a bet involved.

California congressman Adam Schiff bet on the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Division Series. New York congressman Steve Israel took the New York Mets.

The stakes? Sing the winner’s fight song in front of the House of Representatives. 

To his credit, Schiff owned his loss and honored the bet while sporting a Mets tie.
