Diehard Red Sox Fan with Down Syndrome Sings National Anthem at Fenway Park

After singing "The Star-Spangled Banner" at McCoy Stadium—home of the Pawtucket Red Sox—for the past 10 years, Michael Mullins finally made it to Fenway Park.

The 38-year-old diehard Boston Red Sox fan with Down syndrome was asked to sing the national anthem before the team's game against the Tampa Bay Rays on May 1. When Mullins stepped up to the microphone, he wowed the crowd.

It took four years of campaigning for Mullins to finally live his dream of singing at Fenway Park, according to WCVB's Jonathan Phelps. It looks like it was worth the wait.
