Early Prediction: NL All-Star Team Lineup

Just making some early predictions for all-stars in the NL.

Remember, the rules call for each team to consist of 32 players, and at least one from each of the teams in the league.

C: Russell Martin, Dodgers; Best catcher in the league, arguably.

1B: Albert Pujols, Cards; MVP is a guarantee.

2B: Chase Utley, Phillies; The best second baseman in the league, unarguably.  The ols MVP will be yet again an All-Star.

3B: David Wright, Mets; Maybe one of the best players ever.

SS: Hanley Ramirez, Marlins; Great future, barely a starter over Reyes and Rollins.

LF: Adam Dunn, Nationals; Someone from the Nats has to come, at least they have a good candidate this year.

CF: Alfonso Soriano, Chicago Cubs; Great outfielder, always a 30-30 threat.

RF: Ryan Braun, Milwaukee Brewers; Part of the Crews "Renovation," filling the team with young guys.

Backups

Jose Reyes, Mets; Guarantee, but will he get a starting job?

Ryan Howard, Phillies; A great hitter with many years left in him.

Prince Fielder, Brewers; Similar to is dad, and an All-Star, again.

Jimmy Rollins, Phillies; Which SS will start?

Brian McCann, Atlanta Braves; One of the best catchers in the league.

Geovany Soto, Cubs; Can the Rookie-of-the-Year steal the starting job?

Carlos Beltran, Mets; Highest paid outfielder in for sure.

Carlos Lee, Houston Astros; May be questionable, but I think he'll be in.

Aramis Ramirez, Chicago Cubs; A very good third baseman, has never found his perfect swing.

Hunter Pence, Astros; A surprise?  Great young player, expect a breakout year.

J.J. Hardy, Brewers; another young player set to perform.

Nate McLouth, Pirates; Pirate rep.

Jay Bruce, Reds; Red rep.

Derek Lee, Cubs; He may never find his swing, but he might get in.

Rotation

SP: Jake Peavy, Padres; Best pitcher in the league?

SP: Brandon Webb, D-backs; expect 20 wins, and an All-Star game.

SP: Tim Lincecum, Giants; Cy Young winner?  In!

SP: Johan Santana, Mets; Always a great pitcher.

SP: Carlos Zambrano, Cubs; No-No will push him in.

RP: Brad Lidge, Phillies; 30/30 saves.

RP: Francisco Cordero, Reds; May have a better season that years past.

RP: Trevor Hoffman, Brewers; Last All-Star game?

RP: Huston Street, Rockies; Closer for the Rockies, and their one representative.

RP: K-rod, Mets; 56+ saves?  In!

Who will win?  Watch and see.
