From Gatorade baths and pies to the face to dunking on a teammate, MLB celebrations had seemingly run the gamut. Seattle Mariners outfielder Nelson Cruz managed to one-up everyone on Friday night, however.
After Logan Morrison hit a walk-off homer in the 11th inning, providing the Mariners with a 4-3 victory over the Oakland Athletics, it was party time. During Morrison's postgame interview, the Mariners first opted for the traditional Gatorade bath, but Cruz then went rogue.
He dumped all the contents of the dugout trash can all over Morrison. Cups, bottles and wrappers went everywhere as the reporter interviewing the first baseman scrambled away from the line of fire.
To his credit, Morrison wore it like a champ. But hey, after hitting your first-ever walk-off home run, not much can phase you.
