Nationals Find Their Man, Turn to Kensing To Save the Franchise (Humor)

Washington, jump on the bandwagon.

The Nationals acquired bonafide stud in Logan Kensing from the Florida Marlins on Wednesday, just three days after the Marlins designated him for assignment.

Washington shored up the worst bullpen in the National League by adding Kensing, who will go in and compete for the newly open closer position.

Kensing has dominated in his six games with Florida! In seven-and-a-third innings, he allowed eight runs on 14 hits and his control has been pinpoint accurate, walking five batters for a phenomenal 2.59 WHIP.

Over his five-year career, Kensing has an ERA of 5.11 with a 7-7 record. The righty had everyone's favorite surgery in 2006 when he went under the knife for the surgery named after Tommy John.

With the recent news that Joel Hanranhan is out as the team's closer, one could only wonder if Kensing will be the team's savior in the ninth inning.

Kensing will be a part of one of the best core of bullpen arms in the entire league, just guy in a group of epic pitchers.

Saul Rivera, move over, you have company. Welcome Logan Kensing to the team with open arms because God knows he'll be no worse than you.

In all seriousness, this is just another move that shows that the Nationals are a disgrace to baseball. There should not be a team in Washington D.C.

The Nats are the laughing stock, a Triple-A team playing in the Major Leagues.

Wake up, Bud Selig. Find another suitor for the Nationals, one that will actually try to field a winning team.
