Things like this make the world appreciate slow-motion video.
During the Colorado Rockies-Arizona Diamondbacks game Monday night, outfielder Charlie Blackmon tried to steal second base.
The throw beat him, and D-Backs shortstop Chris Owings had his glove in position for the tag. But Blackmon—who we now know is some sort of ninja—pulled his leg back to evade the glove and slipped it onto the bag just in time.
He was initially ruled out, but the call was overturned.
It’s hard to look away.
