Kansas City Royals setup man Kelvin Herrera's home in the Dominican Republic was robbed during the offseason.

The fireballing right-hander took to Twitter on Friday, complaining about the lack of police response to the case, which began in January.

Spring is in the air, and the smell of baseball couldn't be sweeter.

Martinez threw a live batting practice on Friday, which was the first time he pitched to batters since his injury, per Benjamin Hochman of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:

Los Angeles Angels pitcher C.J. Wilson returned to spring training Friday after heading back to Southern California to spend time with his wife and newborn daughter. He also resumed throwing, as he recovers from elbow surgery and shoulder tendinitis, according to the Orange County Register's Jeff Fletcher.

The Steinbrenner family has been synonymous with the New York Yankees since 1973, something managing general partner Hal Steinbrenner does not see changing anytime soon.
