On the same day the Chicago Cubs officially announced they signed Jon Lester, the team is reportedly shoring up the bullpen.    

According to MLB.com's Carrie Muskat, the Cubs agreed to a one-year deal with veteran reliever Jason Motte:

The winter meetings have come and gone, but the ripple effect they left is still being felt around the MLB. Even with names like Matt Kemp and Josh Donaldson being moved in recent weeks, there are several notable players still reportedly on the market.

With undoubtedly the busiest winter meetings in recent memory now in the rearview, to-do lists are dwindling around the league, but there is still a lot of work to be done by all 30 teams between now and the start of spring training.
