In the middle of the 2014 NFL Super Bowl week, Seattle Seahawks' quarterback Russell Wilson is making his way around the Internet for appearing on a Texas Rangers baseball card.

NFL on Fox tweeted a picture of the Bowman brand baseball card on January 27.

The February 15 spring training report date for the New York Mets is right around the corner, which will officially kick off their mission of becoming a winning baseball team in 2014.

Any team still looking for a starting second baseman is out of options on the free-agent market. Guys like Robinson Cano, Omar Infante and Mark Ellis are long gone.

There’s still the trade market, though. And on that market is one intriguing option: Brandon Phillips.
