Unless you're keeping tabs on the 2010 NBA Free Agency, there's no other sport in America going on in July besides baseball.

For many, summer is baseball season, and the Home Run Derby is one of it's must-watched events.

The country loves the Home Run Derby the way it is, so why make it "better?"

Just for kicks.

Just to make it a little more fun and exciting to watch than it already is.

Just to add a little story here and there.

Believe it or not, the season is half over. Interleague play is over. And now, we have officially reached the All-Star break.

That means, it is time for teams to decide if they are buyers or sellers as we approach the trade deadline. It is also time to hand out 2010 mid-season awards.

These are imaginary awards—not real by any means. But if the season were to end today, these are the men I feel would receive the following accolades.

It's always fun to imagine the best athletes in the world playing a sport other than their own. Bo Jackson is arguably the greatest athlete to have ever accomplished this feat in two professional leagues.

Even Michael Jordan (pictured) tried his luck with baseball for a couple seasons in the prime of his basketball career.

With the Home Run Derby taking place tonight, there are several star athletes today who could probably compete with baseball's best.

Here are the top 10 non-baseball athletes who could compete with the likes of Miguel Cabrera and Corey Hart in the Home Run Derby.

This first half of the season some teams have done well, some have done bad, and some are just right. Some teams met expectations and some did not. In this slideshow I will rank every single team from a grade from A-F. Hope you enjoy!

Major League Baseball's All-Star Week has arrived.

The All-Star Week finds itself stuck in a precarious position. Every year, it's the one true break from all major sports.

Minor League Baseball is very creative with the names that their teams have. Since farm teams do not have the long tradition and history that the Major League teams do, they can have a little more fun with their logos and designs. They use more vivid colors and graphics on their uniforms and hats which prove to be a fan favorite.

I assembled my favorite 10 Minor League hats.

For those of you  familiar with my MLB Power Rankings, you usually see the top 10 players at the bottom of the page. Those who most deserve the four major individual awards. These awards are the National and American Leagues Most Valuable Player Awards and Cy Young Awards—given to the Leagues’ best pitcher of that year.

The Atlanta Braves have won 16 of their 50+ wins this season in their last at-bat, and a number of those have been dramatic walk-off wins.

For a one-night event, the Home Run Derby attracts a lot of interest. For that matter, there are many different factors that ultimately affect the outcome of it.

Will there be any new records set in this year's Derby? How many home runs will it take to win it, and who will do so? Will there be another performance reminiscent of Brandon Inge's no-show last year?

The Chicago White Sox All-time Starting Rotation

Imagine you are the lucky individual chosen to select the Chicago White Sox all-time starting rotation for a special fantasy league. 

Your rotation would then have to face off against every other team’s rotation to determine a champion.  Whom would you select?  Who would back up your top five starters and close out games?
