Barry Bonds: The Greatest Cheater Ever

Dear Passionate Baseball Fans,

Okay. I'm going to say this point blank: Barry Bonds is the biggest cheater there ever was.

There you go.

Let's rewind.

Early in his career, Bonds was great. The skinny guy was ripping homers and stealing bases like crazy. He was one of the greatest in the game.

But has he came to San Francisco, he bulked up. As said in the book Game of Shadows, it prompted the question: "What the hell have you been doing?"

Steroids.

Drugs. Performance-enhancing drugs. That's what.

And it worked. Especially when Bonds astounded everyone with 73 homers in 2001. No one had seen anything like it.

He continued his torrid pace in the following years, nearing closer to Hank Aaron's homerun record of 756.

He did so on August 7th, 2007. He swung and there it went. A line drive into the right-centerfield seats.

It was a sad day for baseball.

One of the most sacred records was broken by a cheater.

Here's why.

1) That skinny guy I mentioned who played for the Pirates was as skinny as a twig. That guy who hit all the homers and "broke" the record was massive and bulked up with muscle. Coincidence? I think not.

2) Bonds was 35-years-old in 1999. He hit over 250 homers, more than a lot of guys will ever hit in their careers, after he was 35. Umm, yeah. I understand that...

3) When I'm lying, I stick with my story.

"Mom, I didn't take the cookies."

Minutes later, still:

"I told you mom, I didn't take the cookies!"

I'll stay with that lie. The next thing I say is not going to be:

"Well, my brother tricked me into taking them. I didn't even know what they were."

From what I understand this is what happened:

Barry takes the roids. Barry says he did no take roids. Okay, maybe Barry take roids. Then, Barry took roids, but Barry don't knew what they were. Barry innocent.

Anyways, that's what Bonds said. Sound like bull to anyone?

Does to me.

On top of it all, Barry was rude to the media, neglected the fans and basically dissed his teammates.

And on top of that, he's disrespected the game of baseball. Big time.

If he does get to Cooperstown, and I sure hope he doesn't, it will be a sad day for baseball.

Real sad.

Sincerely,

A passionate baseball fan speaking from the heart
