After a rough start for the first two weeks of the season, the Milwaukee Brewers seem to be shaping up. Whether its from timely hitting or expert pitching, the Brewers seem to be finding a way win games in this young season. Could it be that the Brewers have an attitude of winning after making the postseason for the first time since 1982? Whatever it is, this young club has a different air about them than previous Brewers teams. In the past, it seemed to be that no matter how well they played, they would find a way to lose close or important games.
Even though the season is early and the Brewers have been known to get get off to hot starts and cool off at the end of the year, the fact that they did have a rough start and got back before they got into serious trouble says a lot about their character. I expect the Brewers to be in playoff contention by the end of the year even with the losses they suffered in the off season. If they can get another big signing by the All-Star Break, the Brewers can be a serious contender for the World Series.
