Could Kila Ka'aihue Get a Golden Opportunity with the Slumping Royals?

The Kansas City Royals are struggling big time. The pitching has been inconsistent, and the hitting has been horrible.

The Royals need help, but they're running out of answers. It's time for the team to make a move. Could it be to bring up a player from Triple-A? Or possibly make a trade to get a hitter?

My guess, at least for the short term, is they will call up first baseman Kila Ka'aihue.

Yes, I know the Royals already have two first basemen on the 25-man roster, but Ka'aihue provides a strong bat. He has hit eight home runs with 25 RBI while batting .278 for Triple-A Omaha.

Ka'aihue has an explosive bat and is able to go yard every time he steps in the batter's box, providing the spark that the Royals so desperately need.

Another possible solution would be to make a trade, although I'm not sure who would be available at this point or who general manager Dayton Moore would be willing to give up.

There have been talks that Pirates shortstop Jack Wilson is on the market, and we should see more names pop up as the trade deadline nears.

As long as the Royals don't trade Zack Greinke, Billy Butler, and prospects Mike Moustakas and Eric Hosmer, I am definitely okay with any moves this club makes.

The Royals need to do something and do it quickly. Whatever it is, it can only help.
