Unemployed Barry Bonds Retires!

Major League Baseball's reigning home run king has hung up his bat, glove, and creams. Although the MLB recognizes him as the record holder, I don't. Roger Maris still holds that record. Until someone off the juice breaks it, that's the "real" king. Sorry A-Rod, I wish it was different. It would have been you...

The steriod era has tainted records in baseball. So much in fact, that congress had a witch hunt to find out who was cheating. Money and time that could go to tackling real issues. Issues like police corruption and brutality, President Reagan pushing crack into Los Angeles, child molesting catholic preachers, the two Bush administrations, Katrina in Louisiana, hate groups, Amazon.com's promotion of racism, alternative feul sources so we can stop stealing oil from other countries under the pretense of "freedom and terrorism."

No, they spent our tax dollars on something we could live without. Apparently, no one cares anymore as more and more players are exposed. The Red Sox fans were loving the scandal of steroids with Yankee players. Right up until the whole Red Sox clubhouse was exposed for teaching their players how to shoot up 'roids and not get caught. In their neverending quest to derail the Yankees, they themselves were exposed of far more dirt than we had. Ha Ha...

Anyway, as fun as it is, I didn't want to beat up on the Red Sox. I just wanted to make a point. That point being that I don't think anyone is going to miss Bonds, not even San Francisco. Bonds has made himself poisonous. That is the biggest reason for his unemployment.

That and his big head, not the steroid inflated size, rather the ego that occupies it. An ego obtained by cheating.

I won't miss Bonds anymore than I'm going to miss Curt Schilling and his sock. Schilling is a moron. He comes to Boston for one year and he's all anti-New York. Way to ride the bandwagon, moron. A true Red Sock...

The problem is these people still won't admit to cheating. People like Sosa, Big Mac, Palmero, Clemens, ect... No, they continue to act like we are too stupid to know better. Some have confessed after exposure. Not the most convincing of admissions, but a step in the right direction.

Albert Pujols may break it again and I hope he's clean... Please be clean..?

Baseball really should have the asterisk. They did it to Maris to protect Ruth's record because of a few games differential on the season. How come Maris can't get the same respect?
