Santana to Miss Sunday Start

Per LaVelle E. Neal III of the Star Tribune, Santana has been scratched from his start Sunday due to a stiff back.

Detroit Tigers designated hitter Victor Martinez recorded the 1,000th RBI of his career during Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Kansas City Royals, and it made him the 280th player to reach the milestone, per Baseball-Reference.com.

Fact: Victor Martinez is the 5th Venezuelan-born player with 1,000 RBI, joining Miguel Cabrera, Andres Galarraga, Bobby Abreu and Magglio Ordonez.
