The Minnesota Twins have been a disaster this season and sport the worst record in baseball at 11-32. It is only May 23, and they are already 14.5 games back in the American League Central race. But Dick Bremer—Minnesota’s TV play-by-play announcer for Fox Sports North—said one player still thought he should be more positive in his analysis.

Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton will undergo another knee surgery on June 8 and miss the remainder of the 2016 season, per Jared Sandler of 105.3 The Fan in Dallas and Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

The Kansas City Royals placed left fielder Alex Gordon on the disabled list with a wrist injury, per Joel Goldberg of Fox Sports Kansas City.

Shane Victorino's MLB career looks to be in serious jeopardy, as the Chicago Cubs released the 35-year-old outfielder Monday.

Victorino never made it to the majors this season. He was in Triple-A Iowa at the time of his release, per Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun-Times:

He suffered the injury Saturday after jamming his thumb on a slide while trying to steal second base.

Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera suffered a left knee contusion against the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday, and it is uncertain when he will return to action.
