World Series Schedule 2013: Listings and Prediction for Fall Classic Conclusion

The 2013 World Series has been a memorable one for many reasons and has gone back and forth, but it's sure to end with more excitement with the series' final game (or two games) in Fenway Park.

Pitching matchups have made an impact on this series, but a couple of games have come down to wacky plays that you couldn't otherwise predict.

World Series Stars About to Cash in with Big Paydays

The 2013 World Series has been an exciting one. Despite dropping Game 2 and 3 to the St. Louis Cardinals, the Boston Red Sox have come roaring back, taking a 3-2 lead in the series.

But while players’ minds are certainly focused on capturing a ring, many of the series’ stars will either be free agents or in line for a salary boost in the offseason.

Brian McCann Rumors: Latest Buzz and Speculation Surrounding Star C

Brian McCann has spent his entire career with the Atlanta Braves and has been one of the best offensive catchers in baseball over that span. As he prepares to enter free agency this winter, the rumors and the speculation are already starting to heat up.

San Francisco Giants: Potential Under-the-Radar Free-Agent Targets

Hunter Pence is locked in.  Tim Lincecum will wear orange and black for the next two seasons.

The San Francisco Giants have successfully inked one corner outfielder and have retained another starting pitcher.  However, there are still holes to fill in both areas: The team still needs a left fielder and another starting pitcher in order to compete for a playoff spot in 2014.

World Series 2013: What Red Sox Must Do in Game 6 to Clinch Championship

The Boston Red Sox won the all-important Game 5 of the 2013 World Series on Monday night to take a pivotal 3-2 lead, and they'll need a big-time performance to wrap it up in six games at Fenway Park.

LA Angels Trade Rumors: Updates on Mark Trumbo, Peter Bourjos and More

The Los Angeles Angels were one of the most disappointing teams in baseball. After entering the 2013 season with a lot of hype, they never developed into a serious contender, finishing 18 games behind the Oakland Athletics in the AL West.

Now, the effort to fix the roster begins. The pitching staff is the main area of concern after the Angels finished with a 4.23 team ERA, which ranked 24th in the majors. They are apparently seeking ways to add some pitching by moving a couple hitters.

MLB Farm Systems That Could Produce Cardinals-Like Impact in 2014

With four World Series appearances in the last 10 years, the St. Louis Cardinals are baseball’s closest thing to a dynasty.

However, rather than procure talent during the offseason like most large-market franchises, the Cardinals continue to produce winning teams the old-fashioned way: by developing players.

5 Realistic Moves Philadelphia Phillies Should Consider

The offseason ahead will potentially be one of immense surprise for the Philadelphia Phillies, for a few reasons. First and foremost, the oft-mentioned television contract situation will near its climax, as the Phillies are expected to sign their new, multi-billion dollar TV deal within the next month, according to CBS Philly.

How the Yankees Can Play Hardball with Robinson Cano This Winter

This winter, Robinson Cano will be the biggest, most expensive name on the free-agent market, which is just the sort of player the big-market, deep-pocketed New York Yankees have been known to land.

But will they? And more importantly, should they?

Cano, of course, actually is a Yankee. At least, technically speaking. For now.

MLB Free Agents 2014: Ranking the Top 100 Players Available

There are no more than two games left in the 2013 MLB season, as the Red Sox took a 3-2 series lead over the Cardinals in the World Series with a 3-1 victory Monday night.

It's been a great series to this point, and will no doubt finish with a bang, but it's still never too early to turn our attention to the upcoming crop of free-agent talent.

Last offseason, it was Zack Greinke and Josh Hamilton who highlighted the crop of available talent, and this winter should have its fair share of impact talents changing teams.
