The Top 10 Team Theme Songs in MLB History

There is a certain atmosphere that comes along with attending a MLB game. Sure, you can watch the game on television, and depending on where your seats are you may actually be able to watch the game on TV better than you can in person.

You simply can't experience the feeling of thousands of cheering fans and all the little things that come along with attending a game.

One such little thing, for many teams at least, is the team's theme song.

Fantasy Baseball Insiders Tonight, May 10: Who the Heck Is Brennan Boesch?

After a brief Mother’s Day weekend break, Fantasy Baseball Insiders Tonight is back with everything you need to know from Monday night’s action…

HITTERS

Hitter of the day: Carlos Ruiz (4-for-5, 2 R, HR, 2 RBI)

Johnny Damon, Jose Valverde Earn Their Tiger Stripes

The Tiger faithful love their team, and stand by their players through good and bad.

That is, after said players have won them over.

Johnny Damon and Jose Valverde didn't exactly hit the ground running in their first few games donning the Olde English D. It took Damon until mid April to get above the Mendoza line, and Valverde blew his very first save opportunity of the year (as many as Fernando Rodney blew all of last year).

The moves were highly-questioned to begin with, within the Tigers fan base and outside it

Fantasy Baseball: Why It's Time To Grab Carlos Pena, Trade Austin Jackson

This is the time of the year that most trading happens. Owners become impatient with slow starters or don't think guys can keep up fast starts. Here are players to buy and sell before it's too late.

Catcher

Buy: Brian McCann (ATL)

Fluke or Feat: Ranking the Toughest Single Game Accomplishments in MLB

When you look at it, major league baseball is a game played using statistics to determine who is the best and worst player over the course of a career.

Those who stand at the top of the game when their careers are over are enshrined as baseball's immortal.

The Colorado Rockies' Problem Is in the Dugout

The Colorado Rockies are struggling.

Royals Fine Yuniesky Betancourt For Poor Play

No, no, not his overall play, for a literal single play.

According to the Kansas City Star , the Royals have fined Betancourt, the team's shortstop, following a dropped fly ball in Friday's loss to the Texas Rangers.

The ball was hit to the grass just past the infield, where Betancourt attempted to make a flashy one-handed catch at shoulder level. Unfortunately, he dropped it, allowing a run to score and to give Texas an early 2-0 lead.

Top 10 Trades Over The Last 10 Years Where Both Teams Lost

Trades are always seen as which teams "won" and which team "lost." Some times, both teams win.

With the terrible starts to both Javier Vazquez of the New York Yankees and Melky Cabrera of the Atlanta Braves, thus far it appears both teams have "lost" in that trade.

We thought it would interesting to go back 10 seasons and see what other trades did not work out for either team.

They could be salary dump trades or the usual trade deadline deals of prospects for established stars, when the star did not help his team over the top and the prospects did not pan out.

Yankees-Tigers: Brennan Boesch Delivers for Tigers in Series Opener

Brennan Boesch tallied two hits and three RBI to help lead Detroit to a 5-4 win over New York Monday night at Comerica Park. Eddie Bonine (3-0) earned the win after pitching 2.1 innings of scoreless relief. Sergio Mitre (0-1) suffered the loss in his first start of the season.

Down To The Wire: Gorzelanny's On A Roll!

There's nothing better than when a young rookie gets called up early on in the season and has early success. We've already seen it this year with Starlin Castro. Castro was called up before the weekend series and all he did was hit .333 with a homer, double, two runs, and six RBIs. Guys like Castro are definitely recommended, but here are other players that deserve your attention.
