Astros Shut Feldman Down

According to the Astros' official Twitter, a sprained right shoulder will force Feldman to miss the rest of 2015. 

The stretch run is here for the 2015 MLB season and the playoffs are fast approaching, but it's never too early to start looking ahead to the offseason.

Whether a team is gearing up for a run at a World Series title or still in the early stages of rebuilding, all 30 clubs are faced with at least a few big decisions over the course of the offseason.

The following is an early look at what figures to be each team's biggest offseason decision, and those decisions were broken into the following six categories:

Although the NFL will now start taking away a lot of our attention, there is still money to be made in daily fantasy baseball. 

The St. Louis Cardinals are finally starting to get healthy, with Randal Grichuk, Matt Adams and Jon Jay all back from the disabled list, and Matt Holliday possibly back as soon as next week.

But when I asked Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak what that all means for Stephen Piscotty, he gave the only answer he possibly could.

"It's hard to imagine him not being an everyday player right now," Mozeliak said by phone Thursday.

OK, now we can stick a fork in the San Francisco Giants.

For many fantasy baseball players, this is the end. Most head-to-head leagues start the playoffs on Monday, and rotisserie gamers tucked down the standings will need a miracle to climb into first place. Don't hold back now.

Patience is a virtue, except when big-name players are stinking up the joint with three weeks left in the season. Many decisions that would be irresponsible in June are conversely necessary in September.

A third of the September schedule has already whizzed by, and another week of MLB action is in the rear-view. That means it's time for a fresh installment of Bleacher Report's Team of the Week.

In case you're new to the party, these are the players (one per position, including a starting pitcher and designated hitter) who have busted box scores over the past seven days. Forget their overall stats. We're judging them solely on what they accomplished between Sept. 4 and Sept. 10.
