Early in the season, the Yankees were carried by their strong rotation and were constantly hurt by their poor bullpen. Lately it has been the exact opposite, though.

The New York Yankees have some big pitching concerns, and for once it’s not the bullpen.

The starting rotation has been a major question mark and concern lately—so much so that many Yankees fans are not confident in this team's chances in the playoffs if it makes it.

A.J. Burnett has put the Yankees in a very tough spot. Burnett and Javier Vazquez have both been extremely inconsistent this season.

The Yankees are back in the Bronx for a 10-game homestand starting with a four-game set against the Oakland Athletics today.

Two things that have been going well for the Yankees lately, CC Sabathia and their bullpen, both struggled last night, but when your offense scores 12 runs those kind of things are forgiven.

If a New York Yankees fan is reading this, you might just go on to comment how dumb this is, saying how Burnett will turn things around. 

Hold on a second, you can't disagree that he is the most inconsistent pitcher in all of baseball today.

I know how it hurts to hear it considering the fact that I'm a Yankees fan, but it's true.

With Burnett starting on the mound, you can see a no-hitter one day, and a one IP outing with five ER allowed the next. Though most of the time the second saying is what usually happens.
