Michael Weiner thinks the current MLB schedule sucks, according to a tweet by CBS Sports' Danny Knobler.

The head of the Major League Baseball Player's Association said it will be a big topic during the next collective-bargaining agreement.

But what makes the schedule suck?

Citi Field, which will play host to the MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday night, is generally considered one of the toughest ballparks in the league for power hitters.

It seemed nearly impossible to hit one out of the spacious park during its first couple years of existence, but the fences were brought in and Citi Field suddenly appears to favor home run hitters.

With every passing hour, we draw closer to the non-waiver trade deadline, putting added pressure on general managers around baseball to figure out whether their teams are going to be buying or selling over the next few weeks.

That passing of time corresponds with the rumor mill speeding up as well, with speculation and tidbits coming faster and more furious than at any point thus far during the regular season—and it's very likely it will reach ludicrous speed before too long.
