Much of this success can be attributed to the iconic pitchers that have donned the "Olde English D" during their careers.

The San Diego Padres have reportedly hired A.J. Preller to be their next general manager, ending a six-week search for a replacement following the firing of Josh Byrnes.

There was a bit of confusion in the Cleveland Indians' Tuesday night game versus the Cincinnati Reds, especially on the part of Indians right fielder David Murphy.

With Murphy on first, Cleveland's Yan Gomes doubled off of the right field wall. During the relay throw back in, an errant ball came flying in from the Reds' bullpen.

The Cincinnati Reds didn't make a move at the 2014 MLB trade deadline, but there were a couple of moves the team should have pushed to make.

Cincinnati was around .500 as the deadline approached, so it was in a bit of a tough spot. The team wasn't in a good enough position to be "buyers," but it certainly wasn't in a position to sell. Plus, the team has two franchise players on the disabled list, so making a blockbuster deal wasn't going to happen.

The Colorado Rockies made headlines when they gave away T-shirts to their fans with Troy Tulowitzki's name misspelled. Apparently, they haven't learned from their mistake. 

Just two weeks later, a Rockies fan pointed out that his collector's cup features Nolan Arenado's name misspelled.

A Georgia man will be on probation for the next half-century after pleading guilty to breaking into the Hall of Famer’s house and taking several of the former pro’s prized baseball possessions.

Just four days after he was released by the Oakland Athletics, the Detroit Tigers have reportedly signed closer Jim Johnson to a minor league contract.

Oakland Athletics outfielder Josh Reddick must believe that rubbing his teammates' beards is only weird if it doesn't work. Now that he found out that it does work, he will probably do it whenever his team needs a rally.
