The youth movement in Major League Baseball is no longer a secret, as some of the very best players in the game are under 30.

But there are several rookies who are turning heads so far this season as well. 

Once the tarp was on the field, it was showtime for this San Diego Padres groundskeeper.

The Padres suffered a rare home rain delay during Thursday night's game against the Washington Nationals. The game was less than an inning in when the skies opened and the rain came down, and knowing the crowd was anxious for a show, this groundskeeper decided he wasn't done working for the time being.

You would not be bending any limbs before the season to declare that the Detroit Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals might be the best teams in their respective divisions.

At least one of those two franchises have appeared in five World Series since 2004, and they faced each other in the 2006 Fall Class with the Cardinals winning it all in five games. And since 2000, they have combined to win 12 division titles, with St. Louis holding eight of those.

To put it simply, it's the first person that jumps to mind when thinking about that respective team, whether it be a player, coach or front office figure.

Often that means the best player on a team, but it does not necessarily have to be.

At this juncture, the Cincinnati Reds have no idea what they're going to do at the deadline.
