We're chugging toward the midpoint of May, and with another week of baseball action in the books, it's time for the latest installment of Bleacher Report's MLB Team of the Week.

In case you're just joining us: These are the guys (eight position players plus a designated hitter and starting pitcher) who've busted box scores over the past seven days. Forget their overall stats; they're being judged solely on what they accomplished between May 8 and May 14.

Never mind the National League East; there was a time not too long ago when the New York Mets seemed to be on top of the world. They were 13-3 through 16 games, the last 11 of which were all W's.

That seems like ancient history by now. The Mets began rolling downhill immediately after their 11-game win streak ended. Thursday, they hit a low point with a resounding "thud."

Atlanta Braves left-handed pitcher Mike Minor will reportedly miss the rest of the season after he undergoes shoulder surgery.

Things are coming to a head for the Colorado Rockies and not just because they play a mile high. Troy Tulowitzki, the longtime face of the franchise, could be on the verge of making a push to get himself removed from what has become a losing and toxic situation.

For the likes of Clayton Kershaw and Andrew McCutchen, it's still much too early to hit the panic button.

Then again, as the 2015 season reaches the one-quarter mark, two of the game's most dominant superstars have yet to get on track. While Kershaw and McCutchen are the most prominent players to tumble into a slump, there are also starting rotations, batting orders and even entire squads that have yet to find their way.

Shortstop Troy Tulowitzki has been a member of the Colorado Rockies his entire career, but that could change in 2015.

Tulowitzki to Discuss Trade Request with Agent

The Oakland A's season has not gone as expected, and yet we may see a few more surprises before all is said and done.

Just over one month into the season, the A's are struggling.

Sonny Gray and Scott Kazmir have been solid. After them, the starting pitching has been all over the place. The offense is inconsistent, and the bullpen is a problem. Injuries have decimated the roster as well. From leadoff hitter Coco Crisp to closer Sean Doolittle, key players have missed extended periods here and there.
