Male Phillies Supporter Steals Home Run Ball from Female Fan

While many fans let women and children get baseballs that come into the stands, one Philadelphia Phillies supporter cared only about grabbing the ball.

In the eighth inning against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday, the Phillies' Maikel Franco hit his first major league home run. The ball landed in the flowerbeds beyond the left-center field wall and right in front of a female Phillies fan.

Meet Nelson Cruz: The Best Hitter in Baseball Right Now

Miguel Cabrera Hits 400th Career Home Run vs. Cardinals

A day after Texas Rangers veteran Adrian Beltre hit his 400th career home run, another star joined the elite club of sluggers.

Perhaps even more impressive was the Marlins fan in the second deck who made a great barehanded catch.

Beltre Becomes 52nd Player with 400 Career Home Runs

Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre became the 52nd member of the 400 home run club when he hit a solo shot off Cleveland Indians pitcher Bruce Chen in the first inning of Friday's game at Globe Life Park in Arlington, per ESPN Stats & Info.

5 MLB Teams Whose Records Are Lying to You

Mostly.

In an age of advanced measuring tools for players and teams in every sport, Major League Baseball—and more so the people dedicated to its evolving metrics—leads the way.
